Blades Hire Assistant Coach Mike Diamantopoulos

The Boston Blades are pleased to announce the hiring of new assistant coach, Michael Diamantopoulos.

???We are really excited to be adding Mike to our coaching staff,?۝ said GM Krista Patronick. ???He brings a lot of defensive zone knowledge and an eagerness to coach at this level. I know he and (Head Coach) Brian McCloskey will work well together on the bench.?۝

Diamantopoulos has focused his coaching career in women?۪s ball hockey for the past year, where he has worked with players preparing for national and international tournaments as part of Team USA.

"I’m honored to have to opportunity to coach at this level, and I’m excited to contribute to the team," he said.

Diamantopoulos is a graduate of Daniel Webster College, where he played Division III college hockey, & Souhegan High School, Division II high school hockey in Nashua, N.H.
