The CWHL has appointed the team of Krista Patronick as General Manager of the Boston Blades
“We are fortunate to have Krista and Michelle on board to lead our operation in Boston,” said CWHL Commissioner, Brenda Andress.
Patronick’s most recent role was in marketing and operations with the New England Stars and Maine Wild of the NA3EHL. Prior to this she held roles in marketing and communications in junior and collegiate hockey. Patronick holds a masters in sports management from Southern New Hampshire University.
Physical Therapist & First Responder
James Chen, PT, DPT, SFMA, CCCMP graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in May 2015. Prior to attending physical therapy school, James earned his B.A. in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. James is a Graston Technique Certified therapist, a Certified Complete Concussion Management Practioner, and is currently pursuing his advanced certification in Manual Therapy through the North American Institute for Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). He is also a certified Emergency Medical Responder (EMR).
James has experience in working in outpatient orthopedics, with a special interest in sports injury prevention. He has clinical experience treating athletes of all levels from amateur to professional, across many sporting disciplines including football, volleyball, baseball, and basketball. James is very excited to be joining the Boston Blades’ staff for the 2016-2017 season as their primary head therapist.
